My student and I are working on a project to investigate the shallow subsurface structural variations associated with the May 2021 eruption of the Great Sitkin volcano, using seismic interferometry. We have some very interesting results. We have seen some seasonal variations, which may be caused by weather, such as precipitation and snow loading. To better isolate the seismic velocity change associated with the eruption, we need to have accurate weather data, particularly precipitation and temperature data. I am reaching out to see whether the AVO has a way to access the weather data nearby Great Sitkin, such as the Adak airport weather data. We need to have historical data from 2019 to the present day.
