Re: Volcano Pictures Pavlof Eruption?
Hello Will - Yes, we would love to see your Pavlof photos! (it does sound like Pavlof to me - if it isn't, we'll definitely let you know.) Full-res is preferred, but our email accepts 10 mb per email. You can send them individually to me at cheryl.cameron@alaska.gov , or if it is easier, you can mail me a CD/DVD to the address at the bottom of this message. Please let us know if we can share your images on our public website, with your name as the photographer. A cutter in the foreground with Shishaldin behind seems very scenic. Thank you again! Cheryl Cameron -------- William Yi wrote: Hello, I have been meaning to send some pictures of Pavlof erupting this past June 2014 but we've been out at sea up until a week ago. If you would like the pictures, please email me at william.yi@uscg.mil so I can email them over. They are approximately 6mb in size per photo. I'm pretty sure it was Pavlof, unless there was another eruption in the Shumagin Islands area south/southwest of Kodiak, AK near the chain. It's all muddled together, it's been about 5,000 miles of ocean since I took these pictures. One of the photos was released by the Coast Guard with our cutter in the foreground if you would like those as well. Let me know if you would like them.
