Message: I am currently trying to find exact locations for some of the samples analyzed from the Katmai area. I see that the AVO website maps the samples - giving sample name/station and compositional data - but I am struggling to find any reference to the exact location. I'm assuming since they are plotted on a map in the website (ex: http://www.avo.alaska.edu/volcanoes/data.php?volcname=Trident) that GPS or Long/Lat data exists SOMEWHERE. Is it possible to obtain this data? I see the Long/Lat listing of the volcanoes, but not of the samples. Additionally, the references that analyzed the samples (mainly Hildreth) only mention the general location where each comes from, not including GPS location. I would greatly appreciate this information and/or instructions as to how to obtain it.
