During the last weeks we searched in Kamtchatka couse we are fascinated by the landscape and the vulcanoes but there are no possibilities. While searching there I hit on the Alaska Vulcano Observatory and thought you might have options for volunteers? Do you have projects for volunteers? Do you know any other possibilities or do you know any partner organization that offers volunteer work? We are a young couple (23 and 25 years old) living in south Germany. My wife will finish her teaching post for secondary modern school and I’ll finish my mechatronics studies in August 2012. I already did an apprenticeship in mechatronics which might be interesting for setting up or maintaining eqipment. Alongside her studies, my wife works with disabled people and I’m an aspirant at the mountain rescue service. We would like to take responsibility for our world, for humans as well as our nature. We are both fascinated by the wild nature, volcanoes and are interested in living in a foreign culture. We would be available from September 2012 on when our studies will be finished.
