Hello Michael - Yes, they need site maintenance. Last week we released a statement that we could no longer seismically monitor Wrangell at all until we can go there and fix the stations (hopefully this summer.) Thank you, Cheryl -------- Michael Fleming wrote: I have noticed that several of the seismometers (Wrangell, Fourpeak, Martin, etc.) have gone 'flatline.' No self-calibration, and nothing seems to be registering. Is this problem fixable? Does it require a trip out to the seismometer? Just wondering. Thank you for operating this website, I find it interesting. -- Cheryl Cameron Geologist, Alaska Volcano Observatory Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys voice: 907-451-5012 fax: 907-451-5050
