He is in the field at this time, so it may be a time before you hear a reply. -AVO Hi. I’m looking for volunteer opportunities for my son who just finished his first year at Cal Poly. He’s majoring in engineering and is interested in mountains and science equipment that scientists use to understand earth processes. He’s in Anchorage until mid-September and is looking for exposure to what AVO does either through just a visit, helping with data, or monitoring stations that you might be working on in Anchorage (repairs, etc.).
