Hello Charlotte -- Please reload the Tanaga webpage -- and tanaga should come up. Sometimes the map cache is a bit glitchy, but it is working. (or you can nav within the map to Tanaga - -give it a few seconds to load all the earthquakes!) Mt St Helens is not being used as a model for Tanaga. Current webicorders at Tanaga are linked on the Tanaga activity page: https://www.avo.alaska.edu/activity/Tanaga.php (scroll down) Our daily updates provide the most current source of information on seismicity and other monitoring. You can see them on our website or subscribe by email: http://volcanoes.usgs.gov/vns/ Thank you, cheryl I receive your updates and really appreciate the effort you put forth to get the latest information out. I am writing to ask a couple of questions about the Tanaga Volcano that went to Advisory level a few days ago. When I clicked on the link for Tanaga under the webcams it came up on the computer but then it put a map/photo of the area of Mt St Helen's in Washington and the area around Portland OR. I did not see anything about this being used as a model for Tanaga so why did that come up and do you have any current seismograms of the activity at Tanaga? Has there been any harmonic tremors? Has their been an increase of gases at the volcano which could warn of an impending eruption? I am most interested if there is a seismogram reading that is available for public view and the next one, is or has the volcano exhibited any harmonics since the unrest period began? Thank you for your time. I usually talk to my friend at CVO but since your mountain is in AK I felt you were the best source for accurate information. Thanks again Charlotte King
