Hi Paul, Sorry for the delayed reply, I'm just returning from the field. you might have already had contact with Dane Ketner(copied on this email, he can also be reached in King Salmon when not in the field at 907-469-4528) who is currently in King Salmon working on our equipment there. The equipment located in the NPS shack is for data telemetry from our Katmai regional networks of geophysical instrumentation. We're happy to do whatever you'd like to assist with consolidation, and clean up. Coincidentally, Dane Ketner AVO/USGS is currently in King Salmon working on our Katmai networks, if you haven't already heard from him you might try him on his field phone (907-469-4528), Dan installed most of the equipment in this location, and is most familiar with the specifics of how things are configured there. We have a crew in King Salmon as of Saturday, so the answer may be coming shortly. -AVO Hello, There appears to be some AVO/USGS equipment in one of the Katmai National Park buildings in King Salmon which is associated with numerous small yagi antennae on one of our radio towers. We are wondering what that equipment is for and if it is still used. Obviously we don't want to disrupt your operations, but we are trying to clean up and consolidate our equipment in that building, and also either repair or remove the tower.
