Hello Lawrence - AVO does not offer a formal internship or volunteer program. Occasionally, students at UAF in Fairbanks or UAA in Anchorage do volunteer with AVO, mostly with in-office tasks. You could consider attending the Katmai-Kamchatka field school next summer, which is amazing opportunity: http://www.uaf.edu/geology/academics/international-volcanology/index.xml?__x... Best wishes, Cheryl Cameron -------- Lawrence Bush wrote: To Whom It May Concern: I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Earth Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I am currently seeking employment/considering graduate school and I would love an opportunity to work with you guys in any capacity possible. I recognize I most likely would not recieve pay and I am comfortable with that. If there is even a remote chance that you may need help, please do not hesitate to follow up with me at my provided email address or over the phone at 310 988-9286. I can provide a resume, scientific report examples, and references upon request. Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
