Re: Islands of four mountains
Good afternoon, Sherman, What a beautiful place to be interested in. I'm sure you know that the Islands of the Four Mountains are quite remote and uninhabited. They are more than 150 miles from the nearest sizeable town of Unalaska, and almost 1000 miles from Anchorage. To reach Chuginadak, one would have to travel by boat or air, and for quite some time. Unfortunately, AVO has lots of information on the volcanic activity of the area, but not as much information about travel arrangements. Best of luck! Hi there, I am Sherman. I am 14 and I’m very interested in the islands of four mountains. I’ve wanted to go there since I was a child, and I still want to go just as bad if not worse, and camp out on the apple gate cove on chuginadak and stay for maybe a week. I am very very respectful towards the area, and wouldn’t dare litter or leave anything behind, or tamper with the area on my own. I’m here to ask what I need to achieve my dream. What do I need to go to the islands of four mountains?
