We are planning on climbing the mountain and probably skiing in the surrounding area as well. I am curious about any volcano-specific hazards I should be aware of, or any other experience I might glean from AVO. I observed the steam plume recently. Does that indicate activity or it is just residual heat? I also have seen that Redoubt is listed as green, and I will look through the Hazard Report from USGS. We will be prepared with standard glacier and climbing gear, but could fumes or anything else be an issue? Thanks in advance, and I'll be sure to send a picture pending a successful climb.
