Hi Shannon, We haven't received any other recent reports from the public regarding Redoubt. I'm not sure what you mean by fire balls, can you describe what you saw or provide photos? At the Alaska Volcano Observatory, we monitor multiple data streams daily, such as web cameras, seismic and satellite, to try to forecast activity. We also issue written statements regarding volcanic activity through the Volcano Notification Service, which you can subscribe to at http://volcanoes.usgs.gov/vns/. Currently, Redoubt Volcano is at color code Green, which means that it is in a typical background, noneruptive state. Thanks, Katie Mulliken -------- Shannon Olds wrote: Today I saw what looked like 8-9 fire balls near Redoubt. Has anyone else reported seeing this recently?
