The explosions sent ash up to 3 km a.s.l., and ash plume extended for 75 km to the southeast of the volcano. The explosive eruption of the volcano continues intermittently. KVERT continues to monitor Chikurachki volcano. \n\nAn eruptive activity of the volcano is observing. Ash explosions up to 6 km (19,700 ft) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft.
